Thomas Joseph Hulec of Parma, OH passed away on January 18, 2022 at the age of 56. Tom grew up in Parma, attending St. John Bosco for elementary school and Padua Franciscan and Valley Forge High Schools.
Tom was a member of Union 373 and loved his job. Tom frequently worked 6-7 days week, and regularly told his kids to find a job that they love the way he enjoyed his.
Tom was heavily involved in the Parma Hockey program throughout his life. He was a beloved player, coach, and mentor at Ries Rink.
Always up for a good time, Tom was quick to turn any event into a party full of laughter…usually at something ridiculous he said or did. He was the first person to offer help to anyone for just about anything.
He leaves behind his wife Jennifer (née Oswald). They had some wildly fun times together at NASCAR races, camping, games, and in the day-to-day life. His children Jess (Charlie), Joey, Louis, and Quinn could not have asked for a better role model for the finer things in life such as flipping people off and making inappropriate jokes.
He is survived by his parents Lynn and Joe who are thankful for the chaos and noise Tom brought to their lives for the last 56 years. His siblings Kim Stopak (Joe), Mindy Wracher (Matt), Jimmy, Tim (Heather), Meghan, and Cam Le Pace (Brian) will always remember the times he fought with them, fought for them, and served as a reminder that no matter what they had done wrong, he had always done something worse.
His grandchildren Delaney and Ruth Scott will grow up knowing their Grandpa was a kind, loud, fun man and he loved them dearly.
