Sandi Grocky

Sandi Grocky (nee Miller), age 65, wife of Mark Grocky, mother of Christopher Grocky and Kaitlin Grocky (Corey Jackson), passed away on September 23, 2023 at University Hospital. She is survived by her mother Shirley Stuczynski (nee Conlan) who lost her husband Chester Stuczynski earlier this year. After the loss of her sister Michelle Braden (nee Miller) she took caring guardianship of her nephews Tyler Braden and Dylen Braden. She was a loving Aunt for her great-niece Winter Braden.

Sandi loved her home and her garden and could be found scouting for garage sales every Thursday morning. She was always on the lookout for a gift that would make someone in her life happy. Anything you ever needed, she always seemed to have and kept it around “just in case someone needs this someday!”

Sandi was constantly taking pictures and made sure that if there was ever a memory we wanted to revisit, we could. She would bring her photo albums and reminisce with the people she loved, or tell a story, with a laugh and a smile, while looking at her photo frame.

She made lifelong friends during her first job, her “Sears Girls”, she called them. She had a way of turning even her coworkers into her closest friends.

Sandi kept in close touch with many of her Byzantine High School classmates and would have yearly reunions and get togethers with The Buccaneers. 

Sandi was a co-owner for Jimmy J’s Bar and Grill and quickly became everyone’s “work mom” ensuring her staff family were just as well taken care of as her patrons.

There are not enough words to describe our collective loss, she will be incredibly missed.

The Grocky family invites all who loved Sandi for visitation on SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 30th, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at HOPKO FUNERAL HOME 6020 Broadview Road (S of Snow Rd) Parma, OH 44134. Friends and family will be invited to honor and celebrate her memory at a later date.
