Richard J. Flowers

RICHARD J. FLOWERS age 92, loving companion of Barbara DeSarro. Former husband of Edna Flowers (nee Peck) and the late Dortha (June) Archacki. Dear father of Deborah Styskel (Roy Ziganti), Alan Flowers (Jamie) and Linda Dull (Patrick). Loving grandfather of Ryan, David, Brett (Reina) and Justin Styskel and Zachary (Breanna), Benjamin and Samuel Flowers. Great grandfather of Kylie Beres, Daniel, Cooper, Jack and Owen Styskel. He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Regina (Dluzynski) Flowers as well as his brothers Timothy Flowers and Kenneth Flowers. 

Richard was a 1950 graduate of Cuyahoga Heights High School and proudly served our nation in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a salesperson for Mueller’s Macaroni and then transitioned to running his own home improvement company with his late wife June. Richard was fortunate to have a long and active life, and his age did not slow him down. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially around the holidays. He loved to entertain his grand and great grandchildren with creative (and sometimes messy) activities. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed golfing, playing cards with friends, and bowling. He was a friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him. 

Friends received 9 – 11AM THURSDAY August 29, 2024 at the HOPKO FUNERAL HOME 6020 BROADVIEW RD (S OF SNOW RD) PARMA with a Funeral Service at 11AM followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Park.
