Rebecca Marie Kathryn Klinkovsky

August 14, 1982 — March 24, 2026

Medina

Our sister, Rebecca Marie Kathryn Klinkovsky, our Beck, went home to be with the Lord on March 24, 2026. She was 43 years old.

Rebecca was born on August 14, 1982, and from the very beginning she was a miracle. She came into this world facing serious health challenges, but she fought through them with a strength that stayed with her all her life. That was Beck. She was strong, steady, and full of heart.

She was raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to Vacaville, California, in 1998. It is hard to put into words everything she was to the people who loved her. She was our sister, but she was also a niece, cousin, aunt, and friend to so many. More than anything, she was someone people could count on. She loved deeply, gave freely, and was always there when someone needed help.

Beck stood by our family through some of the hardest moments we have ever faced, including helping us bury our parents. That kind of loyalty and love says everything about who she was. She also had a special love for animals and became a trusted and beloved dog sitter for many furry friends in both California and Ohio.

In 2021, she moved back to Ohio to be closer to family, including Matt and Michelle, Jessica, Sarah, and Aunt Joan. Being near them meant so much to her, and she quickly became a big part of their daily lives. She began working for United Medical Supply in Brunswick, where she was a cherished member of the team.

Her faith was a huge part of her life. Beck loved the Lord, loved church, and after moving to Medina, she found a home at New Hill Church. There she built strong friendships and found a church family that meant so much to her. She also loved serving in the Dominican Republic and made many dear friends there over the years.

Beck loved books, and to say she was an avid reader would be putting it lightly. She loved talking about what she was reading and sharing that joy with others. She also loved game nights and was so good that everybody wanted her on their team. One of the highlights of her life was taking an Alaskan cruise for her 40th birthday, a trip she had dreamed about for a long time.

Rebecca is survived by her brothers, Matthew (Michelle), Zachary (Tracey), and Michael; her Aunt Joan Klinkovsky; her cousins Sarah, Jessica, and Kelly; her nieces and nephews Emma, Randi, Courtney, Darian, and Derek; and many extended family members and friends who loved her like family.

There is no easy way to sum up Beck’s life, because she meant so much to so many people. She was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed. If you loved Beck, you were family.

Please join her family to celebrate Beck's life at 11AM Saturday April 4 at New Hill Church 580 North State Rd Medina, OH 44256
