Raymond James Soucek, age 98, passed away peacefully, reuniting with his beloved wife of 72 years, Mary Ellen Soucek (neeRobare). He is survived by his loving children: Michael (Jan), Timothy James, Susan Kozlowski (Mike), Mark (Arlene), Nancy Surak (Matthew), and Ted (Georgine), as well as 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Blazanek.

A brilliant craftsman in every sense, Ray possessed an extraordinary ability to build or fix just about anything, from plumbing to construction, and was always the first to lend a hand on a home or yard project for family and friends.
Following his well-earned retirement, Ray treasured time spent vacationing with Mary Ellen and close friends. He also pursued his passion for building and flying radio-controlled airplanes.
Ray will be deeply missed by all who knew him and remembered for his dedication to family, his remarkable DIY skills, and his generous spirit.
