Raymond A. Galayda

RAYMOND A. GALAYDA age 79, beloved son of Maria (nee Ligato) and Andrew Galayda (both deceased). Dear brother of Andrew (Edith)(both deceased) and Donald (deceased)(Maryjane). Loving uncle and great uncle of many.

Ray worked for 30 years for the United Cerebral Palsy Association. He loved bowling and was a fan of the Cleveland Indians, Browns and Cavaliers. In 1970 when there was a contest to select the name of Cleveland’s first NBA team, he was one of 15 that submitted the name Cavaliers. He received a season pass to attend games during their inaugural season.

 Friends received 6 – 8PM MONDAY November 4, 2024 at the HOPKO FUNERAL HOME 6020 BROADVIEW RD (S OF SNOW RD) PARMA followed by a Funeral Service at 8PM
