Margaret Therese Guidos

MARGARET THERESE GUIDOS, age 99, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2013 at Jennings Center for Older Adults in Garfield Heights where she resided the last several years. Prior to moving to Jennings, Margaret lived in Parma, Oh. 30 plus years. She was born October 13, 1914 in Coudersport, Pa. and raised in Campbell. Ohio. She was the daughter of John and Anna Guidos, one of 12 siblings. Margaret was an elementary school teacher for all of her adult life and taught in the Cleveland school system for most of those years. Margaret loved children, was very proud of her Slovak heritage and was a devout Roman Catholic. She is survived by her sister Rose Flowers of Birmingham, Michigan and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at St. Anthony of Padua Church 6750 State Rd. Parma on Thursday October 24 beginning at 9a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30a.m. Interment will be at 1:00p.m. at St John the Baptist Cemetery in Lowellville, Ohio.
