LASZLO VASARHELYI age 89, beloved husband of Olga (nee Torok).

Dear father of John (Sharon), David (deceased) (Jennie) and Mark.

Loving grandfather of Brendan, Brianne, Leah and Kayla.

Dear brother of John, Magda and Susy(all deceased).

Laszlo was born in Budapest, Hungary where he became a semi-professional soccer player. He later moved to Northeast Ohio where he worked for many years as a tool and die maker ultimately retiring from the Chrysler Corporation. Laszlo was a devout Catholic and proud and loving family man who enjoyed fishing, gardening, and Cleveland sports. He taught his children and grandchildren the value of hard work, and through this, provided a wonderful life for them. His warmth and kindness will be missed by all.

Friends received WEDNESDAY 4-7PM at the Hopko Funeral Home 6020 Broadview Rd. (S of Snow Rd) Parma where services will be held Thursday May 12, 2022 at 9:30am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Columbkille Church at 10am. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.
