John E. Durkalski

JOHN E. DURKALSKI , age 89, entered into eternal life on January 5, 2015.

Beloved husband for 62 years to the late Lucille (nee Galka).

Cherished father of Larry (Anne), Jeanne (John Abt), Sr. Lorraine, John (Jan) and David.

Loving grandfather of eight. Great grandfather of three. Son of Frances and John Durkalski (both deceased).

Brother of Albina, Genevieve, Frank and the following deceased: Mary, Bernice, Helen and Chetty.

U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Founding member of St. Columbkille Parish where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Holy Name Society. John was a jack of all trades and master of all of them. He loved, enjoyed and cared for all his family.

Friends received at the HOPKO FUNERAL HOME 6020 BROADVIEW RD. (S OF SNOW ROAD) PARMA where services will be held Friday January 9 at 9:30a.m. and at St. Columbkille Church at 10a.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery (Cuyahoga Hts.)
