In loving memory of Jack C. Zusy, who passed away peacefully at his home on October 23, 2026, surrounded by his devoted family. Born on August 9, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio, Jack was the beloved son of Jack and Adelle Zusy. His life was one of love, dedication, and remarkable achievements, leaving a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him.

Jack was a devoted husband to his cherished wife, Roseanne, with whom he shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a loving family that became the center of his world. He was the proud father of Theresa Budin (Joe), Julie Zusy, Jackie Zusy-Kons (Dave), and Hope Zusy (Brian Sarama). His love for his family extended to his role as a doting "Papa" to his six grandchildren, Zachary Budin, Tessa Budin, Sophia Budin, Logan Kons, Joshuah Kons, and Eloise Sarama, and as a great-grandfather to the delightful Stevie Budin.

Jack's unwavering dedication to his family was matched only by his service to his country. He served honorably in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Vietnam War, a testament to his courage and commitment to protecting the freedoms we all hold dear.

A true son of Cleveland, Jack was an avid sports fan who lived for the thrill of the game. He played semi-professional football for the Cleveland Falcons, a passion that culminated in his induction into the Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, in 2015—a proud moment that highlighted his athletic prowess and lifelong love for the game.

Jack was also a cherished brother to Donald Zusy (Dorothy) and a much-loved uncle and friend to many. His presence brought joy and warmth to every gathering, and his absence will be profoundly felt by all who were fortunate to have known him.

A private ceremony will be held to honor Jack's life, in keeping with his family's wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Tunnel to Towers, in memory of Jack's generous spirit and commitment to helping others.

Jack C. Zusy's life was a testament to love, service, and community. As we say goodbye, we celebrate a life well-lived and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love he so generously shared in life.
