GERALD J. MARTIN "Jerry" age 86, passed away Monday December 16, 2019.
Beloved son of Margaret (nee First) and Thomas F. Martin (both deceased).
Dear brother of Dolores Lucas (deceased), Rev. Thomas F. Martin (deceased), George Martin (Ann, nee Busta) and Richard Martin (Mary Ellen, nee Tartaglia, deceased).
Loving uncle and great uncle of many.
Jerry was a graduate of Benedictine High School, received his Bachelor's Degree at St. Mary Seminary in Cincinnati and his Masters Degree at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. He was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and a U.S. Army Veteran.He was a teacher, educator and social activist.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are suggested to St Bridget of Kildare School 5620 Hauserman Rd Parma OH 44130 or St Francis School 7206 Myron Ave Cleve. OH 44103.
Mass of Christian Burial Saturday December 21 at 9:30a.m. at St. Bridget of Kildare Church 5620 Hauserman Rd Parma where the family will receive friends from 9 to 9:30a.m. on Saturday. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
