Chester M. Stuczynski, age 78, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2023. He was born February 14, 1944 in Medina, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, Chester, his mother Ann Puzak and his stepdaughter Michelle Braden (Robert). He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Shirley (nee Conlan), his devoted sister Diane Kubena (Bill), his stepdaughter Sandi Grocky (Mark), his four grandchildren, Chris, Kaitlin, Tyler and Dylen, great-granddaughter Winter his nieces Debbie Yatsko, Donna Elshaw and nephew Bill Kubena, and many cousins and countless friends that were family.
Chester retired from the Medina Police Force after many honorable years serving the city he loved. He went on to manage several grocery and pharmacy chains. Chester was an avid golfer and enjoyed staying active biking and gardening. He loved Nascar and followed Jeff Gordon closely. He loved to travel and would often become a “snow bird” and head to Florida during the winter months. Chester and Shirley loved to travel and explore new cities searching for new adventures. He enjoyed spending time with family and looked forward to the yearly Troyan Picnic.
He is best known for his sense of humor and his generous spirit. He will be forever missed by anyone that knew him.
Crematory services arranged by Hopko Funeral Home and Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
