Carole Ann Potts

Carole Ann Potts (nee Ridley) age 90, passed away on October 11, 2023 in Seven Hills, Ohio, in the company of her family. She was born on December 28, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Carole was preceded in death by her mother Bernadette Ridley, brother Ronald Ridley, her beloved husband Raymond “Jim” Potts, and loving son Thomas Joseph “TJ” Potts. She is survived by her children Katie (Ed) Miklavcic, Susie Potts, James (Coleen) Potts, Michael (Tricia) Potts, and Carrie Leonetti, her grandchildren Jeff (Jen) Rich, Brad (Stefanie) Lendzian, Kelly (Chad) Carey, Tommy Miklavcic, Sean (Jamie) Potts, Megan Potts, Derek Potts, Kristin Potts, Kari Potts, Nick Leonetti, and Dominic Leonetti, and her great-grandchildren Sydney, William, McKenna, Myles, and Maelyn.

Carole lived a life of service to others and care to her family and friends. She had a passion for crochet and knitting. During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, she sewed over ten thousand masks to be donated to local hospitals. Prior to retirement, she worked as an aesthetician and owned her own day spa. Carole always put an emphasis on her family, a trait that was passed on to her six children, and their children after them. Carole had many friends and will be missed by all.

Please join her family for a Memorial Mass on Saturday October 14^th at 10 AM at St Michael Catholic Church 6912 Chestnut Rd. Independence, OH where the family will receive friends from 9 to 10AM.
