Bernard B. Kromer

Bernard B. Kromer, age 87, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026.

A proud United States Navy veteran, Bernard lived a life defined by faith, service, and love for his family. He was a man of prayer whose unwavering trust in God guided him throughout his life. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, steadfast devotion, and the example he set for those who knew and loved him.

On September 1, 1962, Bernard married the love of his life, Donna (née Whitmer). Together they shared many years of love, faith, and commitment.

Bernard is lovingly remembered by his wife, Donna (née Whitmer); his son, Bernard; his daughter, Cheryl; his spiritual daughter, Ann (Dino) Schimizzi; his grandsons, Joseph and Giovanni Schimizzi; and his brother, David (Laurel) Kromer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Rose (née Hund) Kromer.

Graveside services 1 PM Wednesday July 1, 2026 at All Saints Cemetery 480 W. Highland Rd. Northfield, OH. with Rev Richard Henry officiating. Please meet at cemetery entrance.

Bernard’s legacy of faith, prayer, service, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Though he will be deeply missed, those who loved him find comfort in knowing that he is safe in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
