ABBIE LOU PETERSON (nee Barber) age 95, of Chesterland. Beloved wife of the late William H.

Dear mother of Lynn Peterson (deceased) and Laurie Dorko (John).

Loving grandmother of Michael Straub, Laurie Kosanovich (Dan), Daniel "D.J." Dorko and Lindsey Dorko.

Loving great grandmother of Eric, Barrett and Emory Kosanovich.

Dear sister of the late Alice Lewis.

Abbie Lou was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was the founder of Chesterland Rainbow Assembly and served as Mother Advisor touching the lives of hundreds of young ladies. In her younger years she enjoyed playing softball, golfing and bowling. She was employed as a supervisor at J.C. Penneys and was an active member of POT's. Family and friends were special to her including her new friends at Maplewood of Chardon. She enjoyed following the sporting and musical events of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also an avid fan of Cleveland's sports teams.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Family will receive friends from 10A.M.- 12 NOON THURSDAY DECEMBER 21, 2017 at the GATTOZZI AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 12524 CHILLICOTHE RD. (RT. 306, NORTH OF MAYFIELD RD.) CHESTERLAND followed by a Memorial Service at 12 Noon.
